Career Vector helps users assess an application before submitting it, by comparing their CV with a target role and providing a structured recruiter-style review.
The user need
A generic CV rewrite provides little explanation of why a job application may be weak. Career Vector combines a targeted CV version with a recruiter review matrix, role alignment and risk flags so users can decide what to improve.
How the workflow works
- The user creates an account and can save CV content to reuse for different job opportunities.
- They submit a target role and, when available, the job description.
- The application generates an AI-assisted assessment and tailored output.
- The result can be viewed through an access-controlled results page and delivered by email.
- Stripe subscriptions and usage allowances manage access to additional scans.
Technology and safeguards
The application uses Cloudflare Pages Functions for serverless endpoints, Supabase for accounts and data, Resend for transactional email, and Stripe for billing. AI processing is handled behind the API boundary rather than exposing provider secrets to the browser.
AI output remains advisory: recruiters and hiring processes are variable, and no result guarantees an interview or a job offer.
